Autumn's Adveniture

I wonder what it would be like to see what's beyond the old oak tree. Hi, I'm Autumn and all I've ever wanted to do is see the world. I lived in the same place my entire life it’s an old oak tree. It has the brightest greenest moss you had ever seen. The way it sparkles in the sunlight is just beautiful, but it is nothing compared to the world and what's beyond it. I live in a very quiet little colony along the redwood forest and honestly, I’ve never felt at home. Everyone in my colony expects so much from me because my mom is the queen. I've recently found out that our colony is dying. I mean, it is not hard to figure out. Everyone has been getting sick lately. I think our colony is dying because the fungus in our soil might be dying. Have I mentioned that I'm kind of a bookworm? I've been doing a lot of research on it and I've found a magical plant just off the edge of the forest that can save are colony [[you can choose to go on and try to save your colony]] [[ or you can stay in your cozy kingdom->or you can choose to stay home in your cozy kingdom]]

I start to hike into the forest without Winter since I turned down her offer. As I start to go farther into the forest I start to feel dizzy and I notice that the walls are closing in on me im in quicksand!!! I start to panic and scream for help but no answer I feel that this is the end and that I have failed my colony. Then all of a sudden my face is almost all covered in the sand but I realize that I am slowly pulling away from the quicksand I look up it's Winter!! Now realizing the amount of times she had saved me.I finally agree to let her tag along. ‘’Well then let's head out on this journey, `` said Winter. As we got closer to the plant, Winter gazed over to me and asked “Hey why is your colony dying?’’ ‘’The stuff in are soil that keeps us alive, is dying.’’ “Oh, I'm so sorry Autumn I had know Idea .” Winter said with a sad tone. We approach this huge cave that was covered in overgrown vines with boulders 10 times bigger than us along with the bones of the creatures that had come before us and tried and there are these huge Winter wolves guarding the cave they look at us we look at each other then again and then again they start chasing us throughout the forest where big and scary with their gray fur brushing against the moonlight their teeth were huge and they were drooling and looking down at us me and Winter split up and found each other behind a three we barely made it out. And we both agreed that we would give it one more shout but this time we knew that we had two outsmart them. We snuck around the back of the cave and found a very small hole just big enough to fit an ant and a butterfly. We reach the inside of the cave and imitly found the flower it was a daisy the petals on the daisy was the purest of whites and the center was the brightest shade of yellow it was sparkling in the light that was coming from the little opening that was just above us. Winter flew up snatched the flower and brought it to me but all of a sudden the ground started to shake the walls started to crumble and I blacked out. I woke up there are thousands of little pebbles all around and on top of me I'm stuck I can't move I start to look around for Winter nowhere to be found nor the flower I start to cry with small like raindrops skim down my cheek I felt a big lump in my throat, I felt like I had no reason to go on. Then I hear a voice a very familiar voice then I realize its Winter I felt relief knowing that she was ok‘’there are so many reasons for you to go on you have an attire colony Waiting back home for you look I was not all that onanist with you when we met the reason I live in that tree alone is because I don't have a colony my colony was destroyed by a pack of wolves just like those’’ Winter expand ‘’I'm so sorry winter ‘’ I said with a frown [[you can choose to go on and have a chance of saving your colony with Winter]] [[or you can choose to call it off and move on]]

but maybe you could come home with me to my colony I'm sure my parents would not mind ok ya I think I would like that thin its settled you will come home with me. Here let me help you with that Winter lifts the huge boulders off of my body. We start looking around for the flower but it's nowhere to be found and at this point we had looked everywhere well I guess I will come home with you for the time being we head out of the cave with frowns on are face the wolves were gone we spread deeper into the forest but then we look off into the distance and there it was the date it was shining in the sunlight we could not believe there was hope yet to save the colony we both were filled with joy we raced as fast as we could we had actually gotten the plant we start hiking back to the colony are hearts beating so fast. We arrive at the old oak tree where it all began where I would save my colony. We step into the colony proudly with the flower in are hands my family races to me and hugs me with tears in their eyes ‘’we were so worried about you’’ my family said. I like you all to meet Winter this is my new best friend I met her along the way and she will be staying here with us thank you so much for helping my daughter. Here mom I hand her the flower her eyes are filled with joy and happiness ok then my mother said we all go outside my mom holds up the plant and everyone in the colony helps to plant it was a miracle it's glow was beautiful and so bright and right as it got planted we could feel it in the soil and dirt that it had saved are colony. The next morning was great it was like the first time we had slept in 3 days. Later that day was a big party to celebrate the survival of are colony I barely recognized it had been turned into a bright and beautiful place there were dozens of pure white and bright yellow daisies just like the one that had saved our colony there were also pink, white, blue,and green flowers decked out along the walls and all of that was reflected off of a huge silver disco ball hanging from the ceiling. deep down me and Winter knew in our hearts that things would never be the same that we would keep thriving and that there would be more adventures for us to go on.

I close my eyes trying to ignore Winter because I can feel the weight of my colony on your shoulders, I can feel the guilt ratling down my spine, but most of all I can feel all the disappointment of everyone that was counting on me to save their families but no I close your eyes and never opened them again I have failed my mission and died The end.

. “Where am I?” I thought to myself. All I could remember was last night I had a crazy dream. I remember I was flying with a massive beautiful butterfly. Thinking about it, it all felt so real. I got up and started to walk around. upon doing so, I notice that I'm not home nor in my bed. I was way up high in a tall pine tree. Around me, I could see a thousand more pine trees along with some redwood trees too. It was filled with so many other kinds of animals, creatures, and plants that live in this forest. Then, it hit me. Last night, was not a dream. It did happen. I got up and started to explore. I was in someone’s house? I made my way into what looked to be a kitchen. I walked farther into the kitchen and could see a very familiar butterfly. This butterfly had massive blue and yellow wings thin as glass across the back of her body. She had huge black metallic antennas along the back of her head. She walked closer to me and introduced herself “I’m glad to see you woke up!” She said with a warm smile on her face.” “My name is Winter, I’m a butterfly from the Northern mountains.” “I’m Autumn.” I said a bit taken back.” I’ve come to this dark and scary forest to find a magical plant that could save my colony. on my way here,you saved me from an anteater it almost had me for dinner” I explained. “Well then, I shall come with you to find this magical plant. where is it exactly?” She said smiling at me. “Just off the edge of this forest is what I heard,”I replied. I've received an invitation to a passing ball for my colony and mother is expecting me to give a speech. Supposedly about how we all did our best and everything we could to save are colony. The night of the ball, you walk into the main ballroom looking very beautiful but you feel so guilty and alone you try to just ignore it and hope that it will go away. But later that night it was time to give your speech. You step onto the stage very slowly carrying all the guilt on your shoulders you speech ‘’hello um.. I would like to start by congratulating everyone this place looks amazing tonight but I'm sad to say that it won't be for long scents are walls are routing bye the minute’’ but you could not deal with the lamp in your throat any longer and be for you could finish your sentence you storm off stage the you could not take the guilt any longer. The next day as you are talking to your mom she brings up the fact that she was curious on why you left the stage in tears she shows you the book she found in your room and convinces you that you are the right one for this journey and you have a long conversation. As I start to head into the forest it feels dark and scary like the trees are about a thousand feet long and closing in on me. I also feel quite bad for not saying goodbye are telling them where I’m going or when I will return. Anyway, as I'm walking further into the forest I come across this huge log in the middle of my path. It had bright green moss along the outside of it and it had a small opening on the edge. Thinking that this would be a great place to stay for the night plus my back was killing me from all those books I had started to settle d rest. I had already 433 packed the night before and was already prepared. Just as I started to fall asleep I suddenly heard a noise, it sounded like the sound of leaves crinkling... Just as I went outside to check it out, a gust of wind brushed against me. Just as I'm looking up, I see this huge anteater! [[stay right where you are and hope it does not see you]] [[or start to run for your life]]

Ok so I know I'm not the so-called type to go on this adventure but I believe in myself. I know I can do this! well, at least I think I can. Anyway, I'm still trying to work up the confidence and courage to tell my parents that I'm going on this wild quest. I plan on leaving in the morning. Right now I'm writing a letter to my parents explaining the crazy quest I'm about to go on. [[continue....]]

I was there in the cold frozen in fright I could not think I did not know what to do so I just stood there looking like a 5 course meal then it went black I had got eaten by the anteater.

I start to run for my life but I trip, and as I'm tumbling down a hill I close my eyes. As soon as I opened my eyes, I realize that I am flying this massive butterfly that had swept me off my feet. Then suddenly everything went black.[[continue..]]

I’m running as fast as I can the wind going right through me, we get to a cliff the wolf standing over me I am way off the cliff then it happened I had rolled off the cliff and falling what seemed like 500 feet and hit the hard cold ground and died with the wolf glaring down at me.
